Why healthy eating?
Healthy eating consist of well balanced food, with high nutrition value, giving you all the vitamins and minerals you need, at the cost of lowest calorie intake possible. This way you not only prevent the risk of developing cancer and heart diseases, but your weight loss goals are easily achieved without starving.
The Big 10:
1. Vegetables
Vegetables naturally takes the first place, as the most natural food you can take, with highest nutrition value. Don't miss them with your meals - they give you vitamins A and C, minerals, fiber and antioxidants which help in preventing cancer, heart disease and degenerative diseases. The calorie intake is minimal, so they can help you in weight loss.
2.Fruits
Take them as a desert, or between meals. They contain fructose, so your blood sugar levels will stay in normal values, thus cravings for food are avoided. Another benefits that comes with fruits are lots of vitamins, minerals, fiber, carotenes and flavinoids. No matter the fruits, just don't forget them
Tip - choose fruits and vegetables, that originate from your area - they are fresh, and don't contain preservatives, used in fruits coming abroad to look fresh.
3.Garlic and onions
Not everyone likes them, but they are priceless. Both are natural antibiotics, have anti-inflammatory effect, boost up the immune system, thus helping you fight with infections and prevents cancer. Additionally, onions improve LDL/HDL balance.
4.Fish
The best thing about fish are the fish fats - omega 3 fatty acids. They reduce the risk from heart disease and lowers blood cholesterol. Additionally fish fats are great for nerves and brain. Be sure to have fish meals at least one time in a week.
5.Whole grains
Whole grains like rice, sprouted breads, oatmeal are rich in vitamins B and E, protein, minerals, fibers and essential fatty acids. Their value is the high fibers, which absorbs fats from meals, additionally give the feeling for fullness and fight constipation.
